The priorities

Making work and family life work together.

Elizabeth has spoken about how pressures on families are connected. These are the issues she has put at the heart of her campaign.

01

Childcare that works

Affordable, accessible childcare so parents can take opportunities at work without facing impossible choices.

02

Homes people can afford

A focus on housing costs and the shortage of homes within reach of working people.

03

Reliable roads and transport

Connections that help people get to work, education and the services they rely on.

04

Good jobs

Opportunities that help people move forward and make extra work worthwhile.

05

Public services

Services that respond to families' needs in the round, instead of leaving them to absorb the gaps.

06

Education and support

Recognising the practical pressures families face in getting the right support for children.
